Blowing in the Wind

Ever get the feeling that you're blowing in the wind? It can be interpreted in different ways of course. It could be a bad thing (directionless, overwhelmed, etc.) or a good thing (relaxing, peaceful, carefree, etc.). Today was one of those overwhelming feeling instances. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a lot of stuff going on. A bunch of moving pieces, loose ends, and things that needed my attention. It started early and I stopped entertaining new material about 16:00 so I could wrap up what I had on my plate for the day at a reasonable time and start with a clean slate tomorrow. I did manage to sneak an hour on the indoor trainer for a ride.

Once I was done for the afternoon, I grabbed the camera and walked outside for the first time today and the wind was blowing at a decent clip. Not unpleasant, just brisk. While it was definitely hot, because of the wind, it was not overwhelming. When I looked through the fence at my next door neighbor's potted plants, I saw her ornamental dragonfly in her lavender... blowing with the wind. I figured it was a nice tie into the day and on top of everything, an excellent subject for the photo du jour. This was my favorite from the set.
